A cocktail known the world over, with roots dating back to the time of the famous buccaneer Francis Drake, who used limes, mint and rum to prepare a stomach remedy for his crew. A version closer to the modern day was popularised in Cuba and was one of Ernest Hemingway’s favourite cocktails.
The recipe for the perfect cocktail:
- pour 40 ml of alcohol (rum preferred) into a glass.
- add 100 ml of POSHE Drinks with Mojito flavour.
- add a few ice cubes.
Serving suggestion: best served with light rum in a tall glass filled with cubes or crushed ice.
Decoration: fresh mint leaves.
